Richard Harvey, Crew Supervisor

Handle: “Eagle One”
Vital Statistics: 46 year-old Richard is a single father of a 26 year- old son who is also a veteran of the Afghan war. Richard also has a Grandson that was born in June 2011. Richard was born and raised and raised in the Sacramento neighborhood of Oak Park.
Favorite Things: Richard loves the atmosphere around the lakes, which he finds beautiful and relaxing. One of his favorite parts of the job is driving around and greeting the residents. “the communication with the residents is awesome,” he says. Make sure and wave when you see Richard!
You May Not Know: Richard used to drive a limo and has chauffeured Kobe Bryant (who insisted on stopping at Safeway for cereal), Danny Glover, Derek Lee, Tyra Banks, and Chris Webber. Richard also went to high school with Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson.
Vadim Kruts, Mechanic

Handle: “Eagle Nest”
Vital Statistics: 27 year-old Vadim is married and has three children: a boy and two girls ages 3, 2, and 6 months. He was born in the Ukraine and raised on Belarus. He’s lived in the United States (Sacramento) since 2001.
Favorite Things: Vadim loves the job and enjoys working with his crew. The management is “amazing,”, he says.
You May Not Know: Vadim likes to “make things out of nothing,” a skill he picked up as a child in Belarus. He’s a talented auto mechanic and speaks some five languages – you’ll have to ask him which ones!
Johnny Gray, Lake Maintenance

Handle: “Weekend Warrior”
Vital Statistics: 24 year-old Johnny is engaged and was born and raised in Sacramento. His family originally came to the United States from Scotland.
Favorite Things: Johnny likes interacting with the residents, and may greet you by name. He loves woodworking, which he learned in a high school cabinetry class. He’s used his carpentry skills making trusses for houses. He also enjoys skateboarding.
You May Not Know: Johnny has aspirations to completely restore a 1970′s muscle car.
Justin Jones, Lake Maintenance
Worked at Laguna West since: 2010
Handle: “Eagle J”
Vital Statistics: 22 year-old Justin is married and was born in Oakland, CA. He attended Luther Burbank High School in Sacramento.
Favorite Things: Justin likes “doing the tour” around the lakes. He also enjoys power lifting three times a week so he can “be the best I can be.”
You May Not Know: Justin likes to make barbecue grills from old water heaters, which he uses to grill up some tri-tip.
